Robert – :
I have had this item for a few days now and am very happy with this purchase. I reltency went to Best Buy and bought a Belkin corded FM transmitter for $30 and the quality and consistency of sound from this Universal product is so much better. I have a Google Nexus S. The plug-in fits very snug into my cigarette lighter and holds my phone firm. The side clamps hold my phone very snug and do not interfere with the volume and power keys on the side of the phone. The bottom prongs slide side to side, and do not seem removable. The gooseneck pipe is very stiff and holds its position as I whip the steering wheel on my BMW coupe, but it is not so flexible where I can maneuver it to get the best angle to look at my phone. It comes with an iPhone cable already built-in as well as a 3.5mm headphone cable. The USB port on the device allows me to charge my phone (I bought the micro USB cable separately), listen to music as well as make and accept phone calls on my phone through my speaker system (although 1 out of 5 calls do not seem to go through properly) all at the same time. The sound quality for my music is incredible compared to the $30 Belkin FM transmitter. The sound is more comparable to radio, but not so much CD quality. For less than $15, this is the best electronic device I’ve purchased in a while. Im even buying my girlfriend one for her iPhone. The only reason why I give it 4 stars is because Im not sold on the quality of the materials. The performance for the price give it my solid 4 stars.
